Lyft has rolled out some new safety features and programs for its passengers and drivers.
The features and programs include rider emergency assistance, sexual harassment training, professionally-administered criminal background and driving record checks for all driver applicants, in-app photos of the driver, and more.
Lyft is also making it easier for riders to find their drivers and reach out to the company if they encounter any problems.
