LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Detectives in Las Vegas were investigating a homicide at an apartment complex in the area of Bonanza Road and MLK Boulevard on Tuesday night.

At 11:27 p.m. that night, officers were on scene in the 1700 block of Bonanza Road, department officials said.

Police provided an updated press release Wednesday saying that officers found an adult male in his 50s suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

The LVMPD Homicide Section said that the male was in an altercation with two females and at some point, he pulled out a firearm and an unrelated male walked up and shot him.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office according to police.
