The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will host its inaugural virtual First Tuesday meeting through Facebook Live on May 5.
Due to social distancing and safety concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, the open house event has morphed into a virtual open forum for citizens to stay informed by their police department. A few of the area commands will team up together to offer news on their respective areas, while others will hold their Facebook Live events for their own area commands.
Officers will cover topics ranging from COVID-19, food, resources, crime and mental health.
