A local correctional officer was arrested on prostitution charges.
On Dec. 23, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Corrections Officer Robert Moore for a misdemeanor Unlawful Prostitution Act.
Moore was transported to the Las Vegas City Jail and has since then been released.
Officer Moore has been with LVMPD since May, 2005 and has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the internal and criminal investigations.
