LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Longtime Las Vegas federal judge Lloyd George passed away on Wednesday.
The federal courthouse in downtown Las Vegas is named after him.
George's career began in 1974 with his appointment to the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada.
Gov. Steve Sisolak said he was devastated to hear about George's death and that he will be deeply missed.
Judge George was 90 years old.
