If you are hoping to get a hotel room on the Las Vegas Strip for New Year's Eve, you could be paying a pretty penny.
Action News did some research and here is what we found the day before the big celebration.
The cheapest hotel room on the Strip is going for $215 at the Flamingo. Rates at the various Caesars properties are higher. The least expensive room at Caesars Palace is going for $629 a night.
The most expensive room at a MGM Property is one at the Aria for $900.
Circus Circus requires a two-night stay that will cost you $244 per night.
Downtown Las Vegas is less expensive, but not by a whole lot. The D Las Vegas has rooms available for $219 per night. Several others in the area are offering rooms for approximately $260 to $280.
Of course, it is very possible that room rates will rise between now and Dec. 31.
If you are interested in show tickets, there are definitely some tickets still available. Action News found tickets on sale for Britney Spears for about $90, Bruno Mars for $200 and Maroon 5 for $228.
