LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Raising awareness about domestic violence.
County commissioners and representatives from SafeNest turned the lights purple on the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign Tuesday night.
“Domestic violence is an epidemic wrapped up inside this pandemic and unfortunately we have high-levels in a regular year. Given the layers of stress and complexity the pandemic has added, we're running at 150-200% of our normal volume,” said SafeNest CEO Liz Ortenburger.
