Vegas Golden Knights make donation, release special logo

The Vegas Golden Knights has joined the long list of donors to victims of the mass shooting on Sunday at a country music festival.

The hockey team announced Wednesday afternoon that the Knights and the National Hockey League are donating $300,000. The Foley Family Charitable Foundation and the Knights' American Hockey League affiliate team, the Chicago Wolves, also gave a joint donation of $200,000. Anyone is welcome to donate more to benefit the victims through the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.

In addition, the Knights have developed a special logo that will be used on merchandise to generate additional money for the victims and first responders.

Andrew Whitworth (NFL player) -- $25,000

A GoFundMe page for victims has raised more than $8.8 million.
