Boyd Gaming has changed its Do Not Disturb policy for hotel rooms after the 1 October mass shooting, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Staff at their hotels will now have permission to enter a room if the Do Not Disturb sign has been up for more than 48 hours.

Stephen Paddock reportedly kept housekeeping out of his room for several days at Mandalay Bay before killing 58 people at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Oct. 1.
