Audio of call made by Mandalay Bay security guard released

Audio of the call made by Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos during the 1 October mass shooting has been released.
The audio was released by MGM Resorts on Friday.

Campos can be heard saying 'Hey, there are shots fired' on the 24-second clip. He then gives the room number that Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock was staying in.

Campos was shot in the leg as he approached the suite.

Paddock is accused of killing 58 people and wounding hundreds more during the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip on Oct. 1.

Campos has reportedly been staying in a room supplied by MGM since the shooting. The only time Campos has spoken publicly about the shooting was during an interview with talk show host Ellen.
