LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — It's been 12 years since Las Vegas saw a huge amount of snow.
On this day in 2008, the National Weather Service says their office in the valley saw more than 3 inches of snow.

And up to 10 inches of snow was reported in Henderson.

The cold stuff blanketed the Las Vegas Strip, proving to be a disappointment to some and a thrill to others.
