Las Vegas Sands down $2 in stock market after closure of casinos in Macau, China

(KTNV) — Casinos in Macau, China are closing once again because of COVID-19.

This matters to people here in Las Vegas because Las Vegas Sands, MGM Resorts, and Wynn Resorts hold three of the six gaming licenses in Macau.

The closure began at midnight, and will last through next Monday.

Sands was $2 down in today's stock market.
