Yom Kippur underway, Las Vegas rabbi discusses meaning of holiday

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Tuesday evening begins the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people.

Yom Kippur begins at sundown and will last through sundown on Wednesday.

Millions of people around the globe will fast for 25 hours in order to atone and repent.
