LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A Las Vegas protest is planned for Monday in honor of the woman who was killed inside her home by a Fort Worth, Texas, police officer.
Rallies for Atatiana Jefferson are also planned for Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix and other cities.
Jefferson was laid to rest in Houston. Pastors didn't shy away from what they are calling an untimely death that needs justice during her eulogies.
Local organizers are planning to gather at the Regional Justice Center at 4 p.m. Oct. 28.
