Las Vegas police seek white SUV in Wednesday hit-and-run crash

Las Vegas police are seeking a white SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night.

Around 8:15 p.m., police said a 77-year-old pedestrian was walking across Decatur Boulevard south of Sahara Avenue when the woman, identified as Fetemeh Pourvahedi of Las Vegas, was struck by a southbound white SUV. The pedestrian was outside the marked crosswalk.

Pourvahedi was transported to UMC Trauma with critical injuries.

According to police, the white SUV continued south and the driver did not stop to render aid or notify police. The SUV will possibly have damage to the right front headlight from the crash.
