Las Vegas police are seeking more information into a man's activities before his death last year.

On the morning of March 16, 2017, 27-year-old Christopher Rafidy was found unconscious in the front yard of a residence located in the 4400 block of Margarete Avenue, near Mountain Vista Street and Flamingo Road. He was transported to the hospital where he was found to have a serious head injury. Rafidy died from this injury on May 31, 2017.

Investigators learned that prior to being found unconscious, patrol officers had been dispatched to a sick or injured person call near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.

Officers found Rafidy walking in the area and he was naked and bleeding from the head. Rafidy spoke with officers and refused medical treatment.

Family members were contacted to pick him up. After arriving home, Rafidy left again to get a ride to the hospital from another nearby relative. He was last seen walking on Mountain Vista Street.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with any information regarding Rafidy’s activities during the early morning hours of March 16, 2017.
