Neighbors reported seeing three men laying in the road on Center Drive near May Street around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Detectives say several people reportedly hear gunfire, but nobody reported seeing the shooter.

Homicide detectives went door to door in the area searching for surveillance footage, but said they would likely have to wait for the surviving victim to get out of surgery before learning a motive for the shooting.

Police said the shooting did not appear gang related.

The Clark County coroner identified the two killed as 50-year-old Jose Hernandez of Las Vegas and 46-year-old Ricardo Olivas, whose city of residence was unknown. They both died of multiple gunshot wounds.
