The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Traffic Bureau held a citywide traffic safety block party on Friday.
The event was held at Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy on 2531 Vegas Drive, near Rancho Drive.
LVMPD, along with the Regional Transportation Commission, University Medical Center, Zero Fatalities and NV Child Seekers want to bring awareness to traffic safety ahead of the school year.
