For the fourth time in as many days, another senior in the Las Vegas valley was targeted. Now, Las Vegas police have a message for the suspects.
The LVMPD held a press conference on Thursday to make sure the public is aware of these incidents and to make sure the suspects know officers are also aware.
"We will identify you, locate you and arrest you," said LVMPD Deputy Chief Chris Jones.
13 Action News spoke with one of the victims to share his story.
"I feel very bad, I don't feel good," said Rodolfo Cerda.
Video released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department showed Cerda being beaten on the ground during a violent carjacking.
On Thursday, an 87-year-old's car was then stolen and along with suffering a broken collarbone.
Police continue the search for the missing silver Toyota Avalon and urged the elderly to be aware of their surroundings especially during the holiday season.
When it comes to Cerda he continues to work and has a GoFundMe page while he recovers.
He’s 78. He still works. He’s on dialysis. @LVMPD says he’s one of a string of elderly victims attacked in Las Vegas. It’s impossible to not get emotional on this story. Here’s how you can help him. Story tonight on @KTNV https://t.co/ibLXQhNU1H pic.twitter.com/GWfZWIeo2B
