If you have dreams of becoming a police officer, you can officially start the process today. Las Vegas Metro Police Department is accepting applications for the Corrections Academy starting March 13.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Due to an immediate need for applicants, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says it will start accepting applications to the upcoming Corrections Academy early.

Applications will open March 13. You can apply online at ProtectTheCity.com.

The written test will be on April 4, followed by the physical test on April 5.
