A bankruptcy court judge has approved the sale of the Las Vegas Monorail to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

The Las Vegas Monorail corporation filed for bankruptcy after COVID-19 shut it down.

As a part of a deal, the LVCVA then filed with the court to resolve the bankruptcy.

The monorail carries about 5 million passengers a year, and generates a little more than $2 million.
