Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department canceled their National Night Out events Tuesday, holding vigils at the same locations as each area command's event to honor those lost following Sunday's mass shooting.
According to LVMPD, three area commands staged their vigils at:
- Bolden Area Command: Doolittle Community Center (1950 J Street) at 6 p.m.
- Enterprise Area Command: Mountain's Edge Master Association Vigil (9347 S. Cimarron Road, Paiute Park) at 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Northwest Area Command: Mountain Crest Park (4701 N. Durango Drive) at 5:30 p.m.
North Las Vegas Police department continued with their National Night Out event as planned for Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hartke Park.
