The city of Las Vegas renamed streets in the heart of the medical district to honor life-saving efforts by University Medical Center and Valley Hospital staff.
An intersection in front of UMC Trauma will now be called Wellness Way and Hope Place.
The decision to rename the intersection was made months before the 1 October shooting but took on a new meaning after the tragedy.
