LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Healing Garden is expanding in the Arts District near downtown, according to its social media account.
The healing garden's Facebook page reported the lot adjacent to the garden, at the corner of Coolidge Avenue and Casino Center Boulevard, will be an addition to the original project.
The area will be a separate space where people can gather that will include a small welcome structure, fire pit, along with a foliage-covered walkway.
The lot has been fenced off as of Thursday. However, the city is planning for substantial completion of the added area by May with a June opening, according to the garden's social media account.
The account posted it will continue to release updates on the process.
