Female performers and politics are expected to take center stage tonight during the American Music Awards on Channel 13.
Actress Tracee Ellis Ross is returning as host and performers include former Las Vegas headliner Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Camilla Cabello, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.
Swift has apparently promised to discuss politics.
There will also be a star-studded tribute to Aretha Franklin.
