Las Vegas is gearing up for March Madness, and this year is expected to be bigger than ever.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority says the first weekend of the tournament is one of the biggest of the year for Las Vegas.
"It turns into a huge party," said Johnny Avello, the executive director of race and sports operations at the Wynn hotel-casino.
According to the American Gaming Association, more than 70 million people will be filling out brackets this year. To put that into perspective, no presidential candidate has ever received 70 million votes.
More and more fans are cheering their teams on from Las Vegas than the stadiums.
"If you can't make it to Las Vegas for the game you may consider going to the game itself," Avello said.
