The Las Vegas Festival Grounds remain empty and could stay so for the rest of the year.
There are no scheduled shows for the $75 million property, located near Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
The grounds hosted Rock 'N Rio and the ACM Party for a Cause Festival last year and as of now, neither of them have confirmed returning. Rock N' Rio lost between $24 million and $28 million.
"Right now, we should have a save the date, we should have some bookings, we should have some acts announced to feel comfortable that it is going to return," said John Katsilometes, columnist with the Las Vegas Sun and Las Vegas Weekly.
