LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Justyn from Las Vegas says he loves sanitation trucks.
He'll often wait outside on trash day to give water and snacks to the workers on his route.
He and his family decided they could do more for the men and women working through the pandemic who don't get as much recognition as the others.
They decided to put together dozens of gift packs as a thank you for all the hard work.
And the City of Las Vegas liked the idea so much, they helped pay for it.
The city gave Justyn a $1,000 grant.
The giveaway was today at the Republic Services Cheyenne Transfer Station.
