UPDATE 9:40 A.M.: Neighborhood streets are back open after a barricade situation near Vegas Drive and Martin Luther King Boulevard. Police are still searching for the subject and say he was not in the home.
ORIGINAL STORY:
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas valley neighborhood is blocked off by police near Vegas Drive and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Some residents in the area are unable to get into their home.
Police responded to a 911 call in the area shortly before 2 a.m. of a possible domestic-related incident.
One woman was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Police say they believe a man is inside a home on the 200 block of Emerald Green. He initially told police he would leave the home but officers say he failed to do so.
SWAT is now on the scene.
