The wind is back in the Las Vegas valley.
A strong storm system is currently making its way through Southern Nevada and a wind advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. for the immediate area and 4 p.m. for other areas in Clark County.
The valley can expect to experience wind gusts up to 40 mph for much of the day.
And, after several weeks of unseasonably warm weather, it is going to get much cooler.
The temperature is expected to dop to 50 degrees by Monday afternoon. In addition, morning lows on Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be near freezing.
In fact, it's expected to be breezy and much cooler throughout the week.
One neighborhood in Henderson near Arrowhead Trail and Horizon Drive is already feeling the effects of the wind.
Several power poles are down in the neighborhood and more than 400 customers are currently without power. The outage began very early this morning and could last for much of the day.
