Inmate walks away from cleanup crew near Lake Mead, Torrey Pines

An inmate walked away from a cleanup crew in Las Vegas Friday. 

The Nevada Department of Corrections reports around 10 a.m., 37-year-old Jason White walked away from a cleanup crew working in the area of West Lake Mead Boulevard and Torrey Pines Avenue. He was last seen wearing prison blue pants with a blue shirt and black work boots.

The inmate was housed at Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp located approximately 30 miles north of Las Vegas.

White was convicted in Clark County in 2017 on charges of larceny, burglary, domestic battery and ex-felon in possession of a firearm. He was serving a sentence of up to 10 years. 

White is 6 feet tall, 215 pounds with brown eyes, shaved head and is tattooed with the word “Trystan” on his neck, a swastika on his chest, “Swastika Power” on his right arm and a tiger, skull and tree trunk on his left arm.
