HENDERSON (KTNV) — The Henderson family who lost their daughter and son-in-law after the couple became suddenly ill while vacationing in Fiji says the Centers for Disease Control has ruled out infectious disease as a cause.
Back in May, Marc and Juliet from Henderson were watching their grandson while Texas residents David and Michelle Paul went on vacation.
The couple arrived in Fiji on May 22 but become seriously ill shortly after.
They never made it home.
David and Michelle died just two days apart while abroad.
What led up to the couple's sudden death remains a mystery.
Marc tells 13 Action News that authorities are now concentrating on a toxicology investigation.
