An anonymous party reported human remains in the desert south of Interstate 40 and half of a mile east of a convenience store in Lake Havasu City on Monday.
The skeletal remains were found around 10:08 a.m. No identification was found with the clothing, though a bicycle was located nearby.
The sex of the deceased is unknown due to decomposition. the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office recovered the remains, and will perform an autopsy.
Detectives are investigating the incident.
