Las Vegas firefighters responded to a house fire near Rancho and Craig at 4:12 p.m. Thursday after fire dispatchers received several 911 calls.
When firefighters arrived, flames and smoke were coming out a bedroom window of the one story wood frame / stucco house.
It took firefighters about ten minutes to douse the flames.
The fire gutted a bedroom and caused heat and smoke damage throughout the rest of the house. Damage was estimated at $75,000.
The fire started in a bedroom, the cause of the fire is undetermined.
One person lives at the house and just arrived home when firefighters arrived on scene.
The occupant is receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
There were no injuries reported during the incident.
The North Las Vegas Fire Department also assisted at the fire.
