LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A horse at the Helldorado Day on Saturday is dead after being struck by a vehicle near Charleston Boulevard and 17th Street.
The horse was in the staging area for the parade in downtown Las Vegas when it became spooked and ran away, according to a spokesperson.
2 people in the truck that struck the horse received minor injuries.
