LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A homicide investigation is underway after Metro Police received a call about a fight turned deadly between roommates on Thursday evening.
Officers got a call around 4:45 p.m. about a fight between two roommates when shots were fired.

When police arrived, the suspect was taken into custody. They also found the victim lying on the kitchen floor with multiple gunshot wounds. Medical staff soon pronounced him dead.
According to police, the fight happened when one of the roommates—the landlord— attempted to evict the other roommate.
A fight ensued, and the evicted roommate, later identified as 36-year-old Christopher Rainey, shot the landlord.
Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
