Police say a homeowner was stabbed by a burglar early Thursday morning.
It happened around 5 a.m. near Craig and Walnut Roads.
Investigators say the homeowner came home from work and interrupted a burglary. There was one suspect in his home at the time.
The homeowner and suspect began to fight, which led to the homeowner being stabbed.
The homeowner suffered from non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene.
"It just makes me so angry for somebody to break into his house, because somebody was watching him," says the victim's sister, Kimberly Davis.
