LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Today, local officials will finally get the homeless census started in Clark County.
It was originally scheduled at the end of March, but was postponed because of the coronavirus.

Trained census-takers will count people at shelters, soup kitchens and places where people are known to sleep outdoors.
The count is crucial in order for the county to get more grants for the housing programs in Clark County.
