Homeaid of Southern Nevada is celebrating its first graduation class of a workforce program that benefits homeless youth.

Homeaid Works is a development program offering homeless people the chance to pursue careers in the home building industry.

The entry level construction class on framing teaches basic carpentry over a four week period.

Program participants are also accredited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration so they can immediately be hired after graduation.
