A crash on Interstate 15 around midnight may have been the result of a home invasion, according to Las Vegas police.

The crash, which resulted in a fire, was reported at 12:04 a.m. near the Charleston Boulevard exit Police say that they were chasing home invasion suspects when the crash happened.
The crash resulted in lane closures for several hours and traffic was backed up for miles. No injuries from the crash have been reported.
Two suspects were taken into custody. The home invasion took place near Nellis Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive.
