A hiker died after falling 80 to 100 feet at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Saturday.
The hiker fell around 11:30 a.m. while with other hikers. The hiker was initially reported as being seriously injured before police said that the person died.
The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the hiker as 25-year-old Brian William Tracy of Spokane, Wash. His cause of death is pending.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue was at Red Rock to assist.
