One hiker is dead after falling 160 feet at Ice Box Canyon, located inside Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
Las Vegas police were contacted by other hikers around 6:17 p.m. Monday.
Search and Rescue spotted the hiker. The Clark County Coroner later arrived at the scene and pronounced the hiker dead.
The Clark County coroner identified the hiker as 31-year-old Justin William Manering of Las Vegas. The official cause of death is still pending.
