UPDATE: Missing Henderson man found

UPDATE MARCH 20: Russell Perreira was found this morning and is in good health.

HENDERSON (KTNV) -- The Henderson Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating a missing and endangered man.

Police report 58-year-old Russell Perreira has been missing since Saturday afternoon and was last seen in the 300 block of Evan Picone Drive, near Santiago Drive and Stephanie Street.

Authorities described the man as standing about 5-foot 2-inches and weighing approximately 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was also was last seen wearing a blue shirt, unknown colored shorts, and house slippers.

Russell has disabilities that result in him functioning cognitively at a four-year-old level, according to Henderson police, and has been prescribed medication that he does not have with him.

The 58-year-old only knows his name and would not be able to provide his date of birth or address.

Russell was with another missing person who was located in the area of Flamingo and Fort Apache Roads.

Residents were urged to contact Henderson police with any further information on the whereabouts of Russell at 702-267-4913.
