A 23-year-old Henderson man died in a motorcycle crash Friday morning.
Around 5 a.m., a blue 2017 Yamaha R6 motorcycle was traveling eastbound on the 215 beltway, west of the Gibson Road off-ramp. For reasons unknown the motorcycle left the roadway, entered the right shoulder and struck the guardrail ejecting the rider. The rider was pronounced deceased on scene.
The rider has been identified as Dylan Dickson.
Investigators believe speed was a contributing factor in this crash. Impairment is unknown at this time. The rider was wearing an approved DOT motorcycle helmet.
