The Henderson Fire Department is working to rescue a hiker Friday evening.
The female hiker fell and injured her ankle and foot on a trail in the Three Kids Mine area, off Lake Mead Parkway, not far from Lake Las Vegas.
The hiker was able to call 911 on her phone.
Henderson fire's off-road vehicles are transporting the hiker out of the rough terrain.
