A woman is dead after a rollover crash on southbound Interstate 15 between mile markers 121 and 122.
Police say that on July 7 around 5:22 p.m., a 2008 Ford pickup with two people inside was hauling a camper. A big gust of wind blew the vehicle and the camper out of its travel lane. The driver over-corrected and lost control, causing the vehicle to go off the road and roll over.
52-year-old Cathey Hooper, who was a passenger, was ejected from the vehicle. She was declared dead at the scene.
The male driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
