WATCH: Gov. Sisolak announces school closures in Nevada

UPDATE: Gov. Sisolak announced all Nevada schools will remain closed from March 16 until April 6, 2020. The governor also says there will be another press release at 6 p.m. Check back for updates.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Governor Steve Sisolak will hold a press conference on Sunday at 3 p.m., his office announced moments ago.

Speaking from the Grant Sawyer State Office Building, Sisolak says he will discuss the steps the State of Nevada and schools districts across the state are taking to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 for K-12 schools, children, and the state. Clark County School District Superintendent Jesus F. Jara will also be in attendance.
