CARSON CITY (AP) — Gov. Steve Sisolak has ordered U.S. and state flags flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and state public buildings and grounds until sunset Tuesday in honor of Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson.

A news release from Assembly Democrats said the 51-year-old North Las Vegas Democrat died early Saturday while receiving "emergency care" in Carson City.
