Goodwill of Southern Nevada is honoring Las Vegas valley special education students who volunteer their time.
They held a celebration on April 26 at the East Las Vegas Community Center for kids that are part of the Student Work Experience Program.
Once a week they show up at at Goodwill with their class to help out. The experience helps students pick up some basic work skills.
13 Action News Anchor Beth Fisher was the emcee of the event.
2020 presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke also made an appearance.
