Global Gaming Expo to take place virtually on Oct. 27 and 28

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The American Gaming Association has canceled the 2020 Global Gaming Expo, the gaming industry's top global event.

Officials say G2E usually welcomes 30,000 people annually.

It was scheduled to take place this week but had to be canceled due to the pandemic.

The gaming association says the expo will return next October.

The virtual event will take place Oct. 27-28, with a kickoff session next week, Oct. 14
